Legacy Media Recovery specialises in accessing and transferring data from obsolete and unsupported storage formats. We can help recover files from ageing 5.25-inch floppy disks, preserving documents, software, and memories that might otherwise be lost to time.

Legacy Media Recovery can assist with a range of 5.25″ floppy disk formats, including:

• Single-sided and double-sided disks
• Double-density (DD) and high-density (HD) disks
• IBM-compatible PC formats
• CP/M and other early microcomputer systems

All files will be delivered as a digital download by default.

How it works

After purchase you will recieve a shipping label for you to send your items off for digitisation. Simply package up your items securely and drop the package off with your chosen delivery provider.

We’ll let you know when we’ve recieved your items and we’ll get straight to work on transferring your media.

Upon completion, your original media will be returned to you at no cost to yourself, along with any physical deliverable you’ve chosen. Digital Downloads will be sent over via email.
